Casey Clinger of American Fork (Utah) took second in the boys 3,200 meters in U.S. No. 4 8:59.02 at the 38th Simplot Games at Idaho State University's Holt Arena. Clinger also ran faster than the 2013 meet record of 9:00.62 by Ben Saarel.
